Tutankhamun

King Tutankhamun, also known as Tutankhamen or simply King Tut, was one of Egypt’s most famous pharaohs, though he ascended to the throne at a young age and ruled for a relatively short time during the 18th dynasty (c. 1332–1323 BC). His physical features, as depicted in various artifacts and his famous burial mask, provide insights into the aesthetics and representations of the time.

King Tut is often depicted with a youthful appearance, which is consistent with his age at death (around 18 or 19 years old). His burial mask, made of gold and inlaid with precious stones, showcases idealized features: a smooth, oval face, almond-shaped eyes, and full lips. His image has become iconic, symbolizing the opulence and artistry of ancient Egyptian culture.
