There is nothing quite as horrible as losing a loved one… Sure, many people have been through similar things before, but no one can ever feel the same things that you feel when it comes to your experience. The most important thing to do for someone in this position is just be there for them and support them in whatever way you can.

We can not believe that someone got fired for having needed to take a few more days off in the month to attend family members’ funerals… How can another human being do something like this and sleep at night? This employee even brought in paperwork for each funeral that they attended to be transparent with their employer.
