Are You Serious?

There is nothing quite comparable to losing a loved one. No matter how many times someone might tell you that they understand what you’re going through, no one else can feel the pain that you are going through. Whilst most people have the capacity to understand these situations, there are some people out there that have no idea.

Can you imagine taking time off work to go to your grandfather’s funeral and getting fired for not responding to a text message? Not only did this person get the day off for the occasion, but it was their grandfather’s funeral, for crying out loud. They shouldn’t have to feel like they need to do anything other than grieve…
