No Smoking Allowed

These days, it isn’t so uncommon for there to be several places with “No smoking” signs plastered on the walls. Whilst smoking in the 1960s was normal and even encouraged in some places, people have changed their views over the past few decades. But we didn’t realize that some people felt this strongly about cigarettes…

To not allow your workers to smoke cigarettes is a very bizarre thing to choose. Sure, they are addictive, but they aren’t the kind of thing that harm other people or affect someone’s work in the day-to-day. However, some workplaces just don’t see it like that… But these same workplaces don’t mind shouting the entire company beers when there are big events… Go figure.
