Million Dollar Baby and Boys Don’t Cry – these are probably the movies that come to your head when you think of Hilary Swank. She even won an Oscar for her performance in the two films, making her a two-times Academy Award winner! The actress did a splendid job while she was in the spotlight, featuring in a number of award-winning films, and she’ll always be remembered for her important roles.

This begs the question, how do you go from winning an Oscar to fading out of the big screen? We don’t have a definite answer to that question, to be honest. She’s been working hard in the entertainment industry since she was 15 years old, and in 2014, she’s made a conscious decision to step down from the limelight. Maybe after winning two Oscars, she felt as if she can be happy with her achievements and take a break.
