Ray J.

You might not recognize the name Ray J., but seeing his picture with Kim Kardashian must ring a bell. In 2007, a very daring tape of the singer and his then-girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, was leaked online (was it really leaked? we’ll never know for sure). This is not to say that Ray J. was a nobody before the tape came out; he was a famous rapper at the time, but the video made him even more famous (or infamous).

Ray J. did not take a beat down after the video was released, rather he moved on with his life and even tried to capitalize on the fame, but for some reason, he was not able to make the best out of the situation. While Kim Kardashian went on to become one of the most popular names and faces in the country, the same didn’t happen for Ray J. He tried acting and releasing new music, but the public did not seem on board.
