A common problem among many Hollywood actors is being too one-dimensional and not being flexible. We’ve seen trends of actors and that have range, for example, Johnny Depp, who’s known for his versatile roles. While there was a time when Vince Vaughn seemed like the next big star of Hollywood, after starring in a series of rom-cons, he became too one-dimensional.

Hollywood producers and agents complained about the actor not being able to play other roles that were not in his range, and found it harder and harder to find the right roles for him. It’s not just about talent, because he’s undeniably a talented guy; you can work hard and practice roles that are not in your comfort zone. After seeing a lot of him in the mid-2000s to mid-2010s, we eventually started to see less and less of him on the big screen.
