#6: Merry Christmas!

Is there anything worse than having to do chores when you were a kid? Something about the experience felt so forced and unwelcome. Obviously doing chores helped us understand, value, and respect what it means to live in a shared space, but it was hard nonetheless.

So you can imagine how much harder it would have been if your mother said she had a gift for you, but it turned out it was just the dishes. There is honestly nothing crueler than this experience as a teenager. You just have to remember to keep this in mind for when you get older…
