When it comes to gifting coworkers presents, you want to make sure you don’t overstep any boundaries. The workplace is a very specific social space where specific interactions take place. You don’t want to interfere with any sort of workplace niceties or change the vibe in any way.

So we would suggest that no one ever make a gift like this for their coworker because chances are that it won’t be received too well. Sure, it was all intended in a harmless way, but it is never so fun to have your insecurities pointed out to you, especially by work colleagues.
