#33: Close Enough

For some reason, so many people buy other people’s jewelry as a present. Don’t get us wrong, buying someone else jewelry is a very nice thing to do, but unless you really know the person’s taste, it can be hard to know what to get. Because jewelry happens to be quite personal to a lot of people.

Jewelry is so personal in fact that you would probably prefer having your own name written on a name necklace than a name that is “close enough” to yours. Again, why do grandmothers always manage to miss the mark ever so slightly when it comes to gifts?
