#30: A Special Style

For some reason, when people don’t know what presents to get for people they always go for either pajamas, socks or a book. Generally speaking, all of these gift ideas are rather impersonal, so they are a safe bet if you don’t know the person. But if you do, then it is a strange present to give someone close to you.

So when your mother is the person that gifts you pajamas for Christmas, you feel extra special, especially when they’re from the discount store. But to make matters worse, realizing that she bought you pajamas meant for grandmothers (like that’s even a thing), when you are 29 can make you feel a little confused.
