Here’s another example that proves the point above – it might seem like the attorney is asking a stupid question. Still, they’re just trying to make sure the truth is crystal-clear. After all, you can’t assume anything in court, so they’re clarifying that it’s the spouse’s death, not someone else in the family.

In fact, many psychologists and marriage specialists have stated that serious incidents, like the death of a parent, can cause a marriage to break up. So, now this question doesn’t seem so stupid after all, does it? Perhaps I should become an attorney – I feel like I can crack many of these cases!
