Anyone who was around the 90s and early 00s will remember just how crazy people went for Pokemon cards. All the kids in the schoolyard had them, and everyone wanted to try and “catch ’em all!” However, in recent years, there’s been a huge spike in people’s interest in them.

This mainly stems from YouTubers popularising the card craze once again, which helps to explain why this grand theft case may have gone to court. You might think that they’re just cards, but the most expensive Pokemon card sold in 2021 for $5.275 million. Just imagine what you could do with all that money!
