#26: Tomatoes
Oh, the almighty tomato. There is more to this fruit (yes, fruit!) than eating it raw and sliced. Without it, we wouldn’t have pizza sauce, soothing tomato soup, or even ketchup! Tomatoes are the center of all that is good in this world, so thank goodness they are so nutritious, too!

Tomatoes have major antioxidants, so they are one of the most potent cancer-fighting foods. They are also super anti-inflammatory, which is excellent for your brain and heart health. And we were surprised to learn that tomatoes are high in potassium, which is highly effective in lowering high blood pressure. So, eat all the tomato products you like, but watch for added sugars.
