Dress Like the Villain

People are oftentimes so busy trying to dress like the hero of a movie, that they forget that the villain might be a better idea for a cool costume. Take Sleeping Beauty, for example, dressing as a princess in a pink dress like an adult can be a bit odd, but if you decide the dress as Maleficent instead, the results are awesome.

This costume is actually deceivingly simple to make, as all you will need is a nice black robe or dress, and some supplies to make the signature hat (it’s done here with Styrofoam and duct tape) And the cool part is, you don’t have to worry about spilling dip on your awesome costume at a party because you are wearing black!
