Murderous Mermaid

Dressing up as a mermaid is not very original; girls all over the world have been obsessed with mermaids ever since Disney’s The Little Mermaid was released in 1989. However, in literature, pop culture, and costumes, mermaids are often portrayed as sweet and sexy and never as scary, murderous creatures.

This woman decided to do something different that no one had done before and dress up as a murderous mermaid. I don’t know about you, but I’m scared. I’m sure she put a lot of thought and effort into this makeup and headpiece, but I would’ve loved to see the other part of the costume as well.
