Edward Scissorhands

It seems as if every Tim Burton film makes for a great Halloween costume. The 1990 Tim Burton film Edward Scissorhands – starring Johnny Depp as the lead role of the gentle-soul Edward Scissorhands – received wide acclaim throughout the nineties, from both critics and fans around the world.

The title character – Edward Scissorhands – is not exactly a human, nor is he a machine. The unfinished creation of an old inventor, Edward has scissors for hands. In many ways, this is the kind of character that is perfect for Halloween costumes – he’s just the right amount of scary, but deep down he’s a lovable and inspiring character.
