We can only imagine the scene of someone frantically trying to take down their Christmas lights on January 15th, trying to avoid a potential run-in with the law. But hey, maybe this law isn’t such a bad thing. After all, taking down decorations can be a hassle, and leaving them up for too long can make a neighborhood look unkempt.

. Plus, taking down decorations is a great opportunity to start fresh and prepare for the year ahead. Of course, some of us may need a little more time to let go of the holiday spirit. But let’s be real, by mid-January; it’s time to pack up the tinsel and move on. What is the longest you find it acceptable to have Christmas decor up?
