Boat Life

Hold on to your captain hats, sailors, because you can’t live on your boat for more than 30 days in Georgia. I guess the state worries that we’ll all turn into sea creatures. We don’t want people taking up all the good dock spots and turning the marinas into floating trailer parks.

According to recent statistics, there are over 300,000 registered boats in Georgia. That’s a lot of potential mermaids and mermen who will be homeless after 30 days! We’ll all have to take turns living on the boat and pretending we’re on some nautical time-share. Who needs a permanent residence?
