Beating the System

There are a lot of unfair aspects of the Hooters dress code, but in this story, waitresses had a better chance of keeping their outfits fit for work. For example, if they had a rip in their tights, there was a vending machine full of them where they could purchase new ones and change them right away. This is something that most companies should definitely consider!

However, this waitress found a way to game the system a bit. By building rapport with the vending machine operator, she got a few pairs for free. I don’t condone being sneaky by default, but I don’t feel bad that Hooters is out a few pairs of tights in this case.
