No Room for Growth

I don’t think that it is too much to claim that the behavior of the hiring manager in this story was sadistic. Upon hiring a new employee, he first denied the uniform size she requested, then took matters even further beyond what was reasonable. I’m sure this would never fly in most companies nowadays.

It’s safe to say that Hooters waitresses are treated more like pieces of meat than actual human beings with thoughts, feelings, and rights. This story, which involved collecting photographic evidence to monitor bodily changes, is the perfect example of that. What’s your opinion? Was the manager in the right or wrong?
