An Enforced Diet

It is not a secret that Hooters wants their workers to have a consistent, corporate-approved appearance. Still, the means they used to ensure compliance in this story were over the line, in my opinion. Due to a few employees gaining weight after eating unhealthy staff meals, some new rules were made.

I have to say that this story does not align with the idea that Hooters welcomes all people and all body types to work in their restaurants. I feel that any restaurant that offers a free meal of their employee’s choosing should honor that agreement, even if it leads to weight changes. What’s your take? Let us know back in the comments!
