To get a job at the Federal Court means to have your background checked extensively. They don’t want people there who have criminal records, which is understandable since, once again, it’s the Federal Court. However, just because you don’t have any priors doesn’t mean you’re immediately accepted.

To get a job there, the new guy had to go do an interview through Skype. Everything checked out, so he could come in and begin work. However, the guy who came was not the same person who did the Skype interview, so he was fired before he even started working. That’s got to be pretty embarrassing.
