I’m Still Getting Paid, Right?

Small companies can only do so much while screening applicants. There are some things you can’t know before you hire someone, and that’s a risk we all have to take. Asking for a mental health report is probably not okay, right? Then again, neither is breaking your co-worker’s belongings.

After a small bakery took aboard a new girl, she went through a co-worker’s bag, pulled out a flip phone, said that it was “nice,” and then snapped it in half. The boss was in shock to see what had just taken place in front of her that she didn’t yell at the new girl to get out. But before making her way out the door, she had the audacity to ask whether she was still getting paid. Even the sanest-looking people can be coo-coo at times.
