Getting your first job is a pretty huge milestone. It shows that you’re ready to become a corporate zombie and take on soul-crushing responsibilities. This person’s parents planned a short, celebratory trip to Orlando since their son got his first job. That was kind of them!

And apparently, the trip to Orlando was too enticing to pass up. The new hire went to Orlando and missed the first three days of his shift. After being open about why he didn’t show up, corporate decided to let him go. Turns out that trip to Orlando was a huge waste of time and money, right, mom and dad?
