#2: Super Helpful

Pearly, if you have kids and they aren’t yet in middle school, you’ll be happy to hear that the recorder is now an elective. My daughter thought I was crazy when I asked her if that was optional, but you and I know it’s a useless skill they thrust upon us for no reason.

Still, it was a very effective way to drive my parents crazy, so I guess it wasn’t too bad. I can also act like the Pied Piper and get my kids to follow me all over the house when they need to expend some energy. It has its odd uses. They just only happen in very specific circumstances!
