Brooke Shields and Laura Linney

There aren’t a ton of details readily available about how Brooke Shields and Laura Linney met, but they did know each other, as evidenced by a picture of the two of them as young children – which Shields posted on Instagram as part of throwback Thursday. Laura Linney also appeared in a documentary about Brooke Sheild’s childhood.

They’ve come a long way from the picture on the top to the one on the bottom. The prior is faded, children smiling, back to back on a swing, and the latter are two grown, successful, assured women at media events, likely to celebrate an event or accomplishment. I wonder what those kids would think if they saw themselves grown up.
