#6: Sweet Dreams
We know that when we dream, we may not always be in touch with reality. We can have some wild dreams, such as animals talking to us or inanimate objects coming to life. When we’re dreaming, our brain uses a mixture of reality and fantasy. Well, in the 1940’s, black and white televisions were quite common, before color TV was available. During this time, more than ¾ of the population reported that they were dreaming in black and white!

It wasn’t that color didn’t exist in the world, but rather most people were watching black and white televisions before going to bed, and subsequently dreaming through that lens. Interestingly enough, once color televisions came about, many of those cases reduced and folks began dreaming in color again.
