#45: You Grow in Space
Good news, Astronaut Howard Wolowitz! We know that gravity pulls objects down to Earth. This is why if you were in space, you’d be floating around as the gravitational pull lessens. Because of this, it is possible to grow about two inches taller while you are in space.

The good news are that this effect lingers even when we return back to earth – that is, if an astronaut spends enough time in space, they can grow up to 2 inches, and return to earth two inches taller! Of course, those two inches will be naturally lost with time, as they get older, but it still counts.
