The cancer diagnosis is one of the toughest things humans can go through. In 2018, 17 million cases of cancer were registered worldwide, and scientists concluded that there will be 27.5 million new cases of cancer each year by 2040. Although these numbers may seem alarming, not all is lost. Our immune system works nonstop, preventing cancerous cells from expanding every day.

Even though we get huge help from our immune system, we shouldn’t give the poor guy extra work to deal with. It’s important to avoid commonly known factors that can lead to cancer, such as smoking, being overweight, and drinking in excess. Remember to help your body to help you.
