#29: We Get Shorter at Night
Bad news for the short people among us: It may be an odd fact, but our bodies are actually just a bit shorter in the nighttime. In the morning, our bodies are more stretched, and we are actually the tallest right after waking up. It’s almost as if we grow while we are sleeping, and we shrink before going to bed.

Throughout the day, the very stretched spine beings to flatten, causing us to become shorter. One reassuring note here is that we are unlikely to notice this change by simply looking at ourselves or at others. Really, the only way is to use a tape measure to see this puny fluctuation. Now, go ahead, grab your tape measures!
