#26: Blood Vessels Travel

When we think of blood vessels (although we don’t think about them too often), we often think of small, microscopic parts that hold blood within our bodies. However, when taking into consideration the total length of blood vessels if you fully extend them, you can actually travel around the entire Earth… twice!

How amazing is that to think about? We have blood vessels everywhere throughout our bodies. They are located in our legs, veins, arteries, arms, and almost every other part of our bodies, and yet most of us know almost nothing about them. Add them all together and you are traveling two laps around our beloved planet.
