#26: She’s the Sheriff (1987-1989)
She’s the Sheriff centers on Suzanne Somers, a widow who unexpectedly takes over her late husband’s role as sheriff in Lakes County, Nevada. The show attempted to blend light comedy with commentary on gender roles, as Somers’s character navigated a traditionally male-dominated profession while raising her family.

Although Somers brought charm and energy to the role, the series struggled with weak scripts and mixed reviews. Despite its attempts at heartfelt moments and laughs, the show failed to connect with a broader audience. In 2002, TV Guide ranked it among the 50 worst television shows ever.
