#8: Lost and Found

I don’t know about you, but anytime I’m on a plane, I’m absolutely terrified that I’m going to misplace a phone or passport somewhere. Because if they don’t find it, my phone could be on its way to Cleveland next! And even if they do find it, how am I supposed to figure out where they put it? It’s not like I can return to the gate and see if they have a lost and found.

Because of that, I am extremely careful about checking my bag about 400 times before I get off a plane; so far, the only thing I have left on a plane is an umbrella (albeit one that I really liked and I’m still bummed about losing). But now I know that if it does happen, there is a procedure in place so I can find it again.
