#33: So Glamorous

A lot of us have a very specific view of flight attendants. Years of movies and TV shows and urban legends have made us believe that it’s a sexy, glamorous profession full of sexy, glamorous people doing sexy, glamorous things. However, that may not often—or ever—be the case.

After all, living out of a suitcase on a bunch of long-haul flights is more likely to make you feel untidy and tired than it is to make you feel glamorous. And when your job is cleaning up after people who are, on occasion, absolutely disgusting—well, that’s not very sexy, is it?
