#31: Follow the Instructions
Something you may not know is that once the plane is up in the air, it’s actually pretty stable there. You’ve got a couple of engines going, you’re gliding along, you’ve got nice momentum going. It’s actually not super likely that you’re going to crash. No, if you’re going to crash, it’s going to be at the beginning or end of the flight.

After all, that’s when you’re either rapidly gaining or losing speed—you don’t just rely on momentum. You’re at lower altitudes, so you’re more likely to fly through a flock of geese and suck one into the engine. So everything the flight attendant tells you to do for safety during take-off and landing, DO IT.
