#26: Better to Catch It Now
It’s perfectly natural for people to get a little worried when they see mechanics walking around the plane or hear that the flight has been delayed because of mechanical problems. After all, the last thing any of us want is to be on a plane that’s got a broken filanji in it.

But as this person points out, wouldn’t you rather the mechanic is dealing with the problem when the plane is on the ground, rather than it being discovered when you’re four hundred miles over the Atlantic Ocean with nowhere to land for miles? Really, a plane that’s just been looked at by a mechanic is the best sort of plane to be on.
