#58: Die Hard

And back to the debate on whether Die Hard is actually a Christmas film or not. Whether it is or isn’t (and we maintain that it is), there are some exceptional Easter eggs and foreshadowing that happens throughout the film.

Take this scene for example, where John says that he is sure he will see Holly’s watch later on. Considering that he later takes the watch from her, this is some pretty good foreshadowing. Not only does he take the watch, but it also leads to another character’s death… you can really feel the Christmas spirit.
