#3: The Nightmare Before Christmas
Although no longer a spring chicken in terms of Christmas films, The 1993 film, The Nightmare Before Christmas has continued to wow viewers many, many years after its initial release. I mean, who wouldn’t love a story about the King of Halloweentown being obsessed with celebrating Christmas?

This not-so-hidden Easter egg is actually out in the open, on Jack Skellington’s blackboard. Alongside many other scribblings and cute notes, the release date of the film itself, 12/25/93, is written on Skellington’s blackboard of calculations. It’s a pretty cute touch!
