32. Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Milky Way
The sun is the source of all life on planet Earth. If we weren’t in just the perfect position for it to give us the proper amount of warmth, the planet would either burn up or freeze and no life would be able to flourish.

And yet, despite the fact that the sun is absolutely everything to us, it is just one tiny star in a universe full of trillions upon trillions of other stars. This comparison really nails home just how tiny it is in our galaxy alone. A white blood cell is not even enough for one of us tiny humans to stay alive, and that’s in scale to the entire United States.
