Riverdale fans love Betty Cooper and Jughead’s relationship, and many people were thrilled to learn that the actors playing these characters were dating in real life. Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse kept their relationship on the down-low, but it was pretty evident something was going on based on their cryptic posts and flirtatious remarks on social media. Their young love didn’t last, though.

Sprouse confirmed their March 2020 break up via an Instagram post, and wished Reinhart nothing but the best. It looks like they have separated on good terms and remain amicable. It will be interesting to see how their on-screen relationship plays out in the next season of Riverdale, and if fans will approve.
