Dirk Bogarde
English actor Dirk Bogarde, a WWII British intelligence officer, revealed in a 1986 interview that his war experiences left him fearless, unshaken by any man or director. He believed nothing could be as horrifying as the war atrocities he witnessed.

Despite never publicly acknowledging his homosexuality, Bogarde daringly played gay characters, notably in the groundbreaking 1961 film ‘Victim’. This film marked a pivotal moment in cinema by openly addressing homosexuality. Bogarde shared a 40-year companionship with his manager, Anthony Forwood.
