Weight Loss
As we’ve seen before, weight management and body type are influenced by a complex interplay of genetic as well as environmental factors. While genetics do play a pivotal role in determining a person’s body type and how they manage their weight, it’s an oversimplification to say that these traits are predominantly inherited from one side of the family.

Body composition and weight maintenance result from the combined genetic contributions of both parents, with multiple genes influencing these aspects. Lifestyle choices, diet, physical activity, and other environmental factors play significant roles in shaping an individual’s body type and weight management. While genetic predispositions may contribute, it is the interaction of genetic and environmental factors that determines an individual’s body type and their ability to manage their weight effectively.
