Pattern Baldness
Male pattern baldness is a hereditary trait primarily influenced by genetics passed down through the female lineage. This means that if your mom’s father or grandfather experienced baldness, you are more likely to be susceptible to it as well. Male pattern baldness is often associated with the inheritance of dominant genes related to hair loss.

However, not all hope is lost! It’s important to note that not all individuals who carry these genes will experience baldness at a young age or even at all. Some men may inherit a recessive form of the gene, which can delay or mitigate the onset of baldness. So while balding tends to run in families, individual experiences with male pattern baldness can vary widely, and the age at which it occurs is influenced by the interplay of genetic and environmental factors.
