Dimples
Dimples, those endearing facial features we all love, are often inherited from the dad’s side of the family due to a specific genetic trait. Dimples are the result of a dominant gene, and this gene’s presence can create a visible indentation when someone smiles. Because it’s a dominant trait, an individual needs only one copy of the dimple gene from either parent to express dimples.

If a father carries the gene for dimples, there’s a significant chance he will pass it on to his offspring. However, the presence of dimples is not solely determined by genetics; it’s also influenced by the interplay of multiple genes and complex genetic inheritance patterns. Thus, while dimples are often associated with the dad’s side, their appearance can still vary among family members due to genetic diversity and other factors.
