#38: Alaskan Bush People
Discovery Channel’s Alaskan Bush People presents the Brown family as a self-reliant clan surviving in the remote Alaskan wilderness. They’re introduced as rugged, off-the-grid pioneers deeply connected to nature.

However, inconsistencies in their story have cast doubt on that image. Reports revealed the family had spent significant time living in modern homes and staying in hotels during filming. Despite being marketed as wilderness experts, much of their lifestyle appears curated for the cameras.
