We’ve already seen that Lady Gaga’s tattoo collection is too big to be featured here in its entirety, but another one of her tattoos that deserves special attention, if you ask us, is the back tattoo she received in late 2019. It’s a delicate rose tattoo with the words “la vie en rose” (which translates to “life in rosy colors”), referencing the famous song by Edith Piaf.

This song has a special meaning for the singer; this is the song she performed in the critically acclaimed movie A Star Is Born. This isn’t just a reference to the famous Edith Piaf song, but a tribute to the successful movie and her role as Ally. That’s also the song that determined Gaga was the right person to play the role opposite Bradley Cooper in the film.
