#62: Trail Dust
Set Piece: Trail Dust Town
Location: Tucson, Arizona, USA
Production Budget: Unknown
Trail Dust was a classic Wild West movie directed by Nate Watt that hit theaters in 1936. It’s your quintessential cowboy tale, complete with gangs, cattle rustling, and showdowns in the dusty streets. These days, the old film set has been transformed into a bustling shopping mall, but it still retains that rugged charm.

Nowadays, the spot is known as Trail Dust Town, and it’s famous for serving up some of the best steaks in Tucson. Folks flock here for their legendary Cowboy Steak and tasty treats from Millie’s Pancake Haus. Built back in 1961, the town has a nostalgic vibe, with attractions like a shooting gallery, vintage carousel, and even a Ferris wheel.
