Fans of the holiday classic Home Alone will love knowing it was filmed in a real house in Winnetka, Illinois. The McCallister House, aka the “Home Alone House,” was built in 1920 and is located at 671 Lincoln Avenue. It’s where many indoor scenes were shot.

If you can’t make it to Winnetka, you can even watch a video tour of the house on YouTube. But since it’s a regular neighborhood, the homeowners probably don’t want too many visitors. Let’s be honest: If you’re going to live in such an iconic house, you will have to be okay with some random visitors.
