The US Marshals Respond
Once upon a time, US Marshals conceded that the infamous Alcatraz escapees could have cheated death. However, when a mysterious letter surfaced, they were quick to dismiss its authenticity. Despite the enticing possibility of the fugitives living covert lives, the Marshals maintained a skeptical stance, casting a shadow of doubt over the tantalizing tale spun by the cryptic note.

Despite their uncertainty, the Marshals Service has gallantly pledged to chase down leads until irrefutable evidence surfaces that the elusive trio are indeed deceased, or at least have hit the ripe old age of 99. However, with that age milestone lurking around the corner, the chances of finding solid proof seem slim. After all, the FBI’s 17-year-long manhunt ended fruitlessly, devoid of any credible evidence suggesting the trio’s survival.
